Join our Special Washoku Course starting February 23rd, a one-week immersive program where you will experience the full spectrum of authentic Japanese flavors. From ramen to sushi, savory soups to traditional sweets, this course covers Japan’s most beloved dishes and cooking techniques.

Sample Lesson Schedule
Monday (Holiday) : Ramen, gyoza, braised pork rice bowls
Tuesday : Fish filleting, sashimi, kamameshi (Japanese rice pot), onigiri, Japanese pickles, tamagoyaki, miso soup, sukiyaki
Wednesday : Chicken filleting, yakitori, karaage, oyakodon, Japanese chicken soup, pickles
Thursday : Japan’s favorite comfort foods: curry rice, hamburger steak, potato salad, nikujaga (simmered meat and potatoes)
Friday (Field Visit) : Visit the fish market and witness live auctions, enjoy a traditional Japanese breakfast, visit Kinomiya Shrine to learn about Shinto and the sacred camphor tree, and experience matcha tea
This course offers a unique opportunity to master the flavors and techniques of Japanese cuisine, guided by professional chefs, while immersing yourself in Japanese culinary and cultural traditions.
