2023 Chef Training Course Lesson Report: DASHI

Today I would like to share with you a part of our Dashi lesson!

Dashi is Japanese soup stock that builds the important bases for many Japanese dishes including miso soup, ramen, etc. etc. Dashi is the essence of authentic Japanese flavor so that the JCI students will learn how to prepare Dashi at the initial class.

After preparing Dashi, the students also learn how to cook Dashi-Maki Tamago, Japanese Rolled Omelets, and Yose-Nabe.
